Figure Drawing Basics – 101 with Edward Sprafkin

This one-day workshop is perfect for those new to quick-pose gesture drawing or those who want to improve their essential skills. Edward will introduce general proportions, primitive forms, and relative measuring to aid the development of a figure drawing. The class will work from a live model at various pose durations and use basic drawing materials to keep the process simple. Please request a supply list upon registration. 

Edward Sprafkin is an impressionistic painter whose favorite subjects include landscapes, portraits, and figures. He strives to create a great sense of depth, mood, and atmosphere in his paintings, regardless of their scale. Edward is just as passionate about teaching as he is about painting.
